I’ve been experiencing a lot of gas lately…?
Asked: I’ve been experiencing a lot of gas lately…?
Like after lunch I'll have to fart, and then I'll succeed at holding it then. Then I'll have to fart 5-10 minutes later. It gets better at the end of the day, but I still have to fart a lot. I also get pains in my lower stomach, and once after going to the bathroom (#2) I got an extreme pain in my lower left side of my stomach. We called the doctor and were told that I should just take Gas x to get rid of it since I'm not experiencing constipation. So I got it, but it's been 5-6 hours after I took one after eating, and I'm not experiencing too much relief. My stomach is still making gargling sounds (did I mention is does that a lot too?) but I suspect that is because I'm lying down. I heard that Gas X is supposed to make you burp too, but I haven't burped at all. I don't think I'm lactose intolerant because I don't drink milk during lunch (and I don't have dairy products at lunch) and after lunch is when I experience these symptoms the worst. I looked at my diet, but I don't really see a problem with it. I usually have a bagel for breakfast, whatevers for lunch (usually some meat with veggies), and then dinner which is similar to lunch. And I have water throughout the day. I've been watching what I eat and I don't have any greasy food and I've cut out junk food. What could it still be? What can I do to help relieve these symptoms?
i've never burped more when i use gas x. i don't know what it could be, but try using Beano instead. you can take it before you eat it and it's supposed to prevent gassiness. it's worked for me before.
