Junk food at sleepover? How to avoid without making that weird?
HitTheTrails Asked: Junk food at sleepover? How to avoid without making that weird?
Before you say anything, No I do not have a eating disorder. I just been working out and maintaining a good weight. I do allow myself to eat a bit of junk food once or twice a week, but really limited. I naturally have a slower metabolism(even though it has boosted more after working out and losing weight) than some of my other friends who can like eat a whole cake and not gain a pound. Anyway, normally at sleepovers we pig out and stuff, but now I'm just really wanting to limit myself.
One of my other friends does this too, and our friends always think she has a eating disorder or like some kind of problem, just cause she doesn't really eat it and says she's full all the time. I don't know, i just don't want the same reaction from them…….
Answers:
Buy it but only a little and don't eat it with them. Get fruit. Its always a better choice. And if you buy frozen berries and yogurt., you can blend or smash the berries and mix them in with the yogurt…. soooo good! Don't buy soda. You'll have more energy and so will your friends even if you pig out
Same here. I'm a ballet dancer, so I need to keep a steady weight.
How to avoid it without making it weird… I say tell your friends that you don't want it or just tell them you are on a "diet". That's what I told my friends. Naturally, I do not like sweet things (Thank GOD for that!)
When they say,"OMG you have a eating disorder" just reply that you want to stay at your weight. Now if you say, " I DON'T WANT IT!", that's offending to your friends. I'm also allergic to food colouring so I'm considered lucky.
